The Photographers

Good teamwork and communication comes naturally at Kirsty Maddren Photography in the form of our soon to be Married duo Kirsty & Christopher. We also have several fully trained assistants who help to capture each of your special moments at large events.

Kirsty & Christopher first discovered their passion for being behind the lens whilst studying for their Bachelor of Arts degrees at Lincoln University & Teesside University respectively. Studying photography led both of them to learning both traditional and new digital techniques, enabling them to capture people in a natural but artistic approach, a technique which is popular among contemporary family portraiture.

After graduating in 2006, Kirsty began working for the Evening Gazette in Middlesbrough, all the while photographing her ever growing family. After Chris graduated in 2007, he also began working in a multi-media role as a digital freelance grachic designer and also as a digital photo restoration technician. Soon family friends were asking them both to photograph their children and family occasions, thus, through the power of recommendations, what began as their hobby grew into a passionate and popular local business.
